Timesheet Detail Report Incorrect Totals when Other Work is included in Report

Issue/Introduction

Advanced Reporting Timesheet Detail Report displays incorrect totals. When there are Other Work items as well as several tasks listed on the timesheet, the totals appear to include the Other Work and only the last line of the task group.

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. In Clarity PPM Classic UI, create a timesheet
  2. Add several Task lines and enter hours in various days and task lines
  3. Add Other Work Item and enter hours on this line as well.
  4. Approve and Post Timesheet
  5. Run Load DW (full load)
  6. Run Timesheet Detail Report. Select the specific OBS information for the resource and select the correct timesheet period.
Expected Result: Total hours match the timesheet and the detailed hours on the report.
Actual Result: Report shows incorrect hours. Appears to be the Other Work hours and only the last line of the task group. Hours are incorrect.

Cause

This issue is caused by DE32783.

Environment

This issue has been observed in CA PPM 15.1 and 15.2.

Resolution

Engineering has fixed this issue in Clarity PPM 15.3 and has backported the fix to Clarity PPM 15.1 patch 7 and 15.2 patch 3.

Note: If you still see this issue post upgrade, check to see if the report being used is the Out of the Box (OOTB) report. If the issue is not happening with the OOTB report, the custom report may also need to be updated.
