Does migrating from CYBERARK to CA PAM Impact CA 7?

Issue/Introduction

There is a new process where server login access is changing from CYBERARK to CA PAM. What would be the impact on jobs running in CA7 with CYBERARK version 3.1, 11.2, and 11.3?

Resolution

There is no impact.  It is not CA 7 that validates user credentials for scripts that are sent to the server. It is the security package on the server. CA 7 only passes to the server what it found on the XN.3 panel. It then is up to the server to validate the credentials, but this occurs on the server side.
