Cannot use Model Usage when selecting 'U' on model functions

Issue/Introduction

Within a 2E r8.7 model and when I put a 'U' for usage next to a function object, I now get a blank screen with a message at the bottom saying "Expanding model usages ..." But it does not seem to return the usage screen.  It just hangs on this blank panel with message "Expanding model usages...".  

Environment

CA 2E 8.7 and higher

Resolution

Set the model value 'YCMTCDE' to '*IGN': 

To do this, enter the command 

YCHGMDLVAL MDLVAL(YCMTCDE)  

and change the 'model value' to '*IGN'.
