Installer of CA Service Catalog does not populate the domain

Issue/Introduction

Upgrading to Service Catalog 17.0 the installer is requesting the Business Unit but is blank and cannot be modified.

Cause

The application and database servers have been moved and the data in al_cdb_configurationparameters has not been updated. The 17.0 installer will check in the al_cdb_configurationparameters table and all data here is wrong and not updated in the environment.

Environment

Service Catalog 17.0

Resolution

Workaround:

Upgrade to 17.1 instead of 17.0. The difference is that 17.0 will check in the al_cdb_configurationparameters while 17.1 installer will not perform this check and will populate the domain.
