Need to create a file with with a single quote mark in a given column

Issue/Introduction

Using EARL to select records from the TMC and build TMSUPDTE control statements.  Need to VERify on the DSN but the DSN has special characters and a delimiter is needed before and after the DSN.  Normally a single quote mark works for this but unable to define a field and give it a value of a single quote and setting the field in the output to a single quote is not allowed.

Resolution

TMSUPDTE will accept other characters as a delimiter.  Since a DSN cannot contain a * , use the * as the delimiter.
