SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

Recently upgraded to Sysview Performance Management Option for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) release r20.

When attempting to start an SQLTRACE (3 - Traditional Application Probe) receiving the following error:

DBG04003E ssid 08:29:17 REQUEST SPECIFIES AN IFCID UNSUPPORTED BY DB2
DBG04002E ssid 08:29:17 FAILURE IN ADDING REQUEST TO ACTIVE LIST
DBG04001E ssid 08:29:17 SYNTAX ERROR IN REQUEST; NOT STARTED

Validated that the correct hlq.CDBATREQ was copied into the runtime dataset and have validated other things directly related
to the install of the new version.

Resolution

Updating the IDB2 Data Collector Db2 version parameter to 12.1 corrected the problem:

e.g: DB2VER=12.1
