Ran the FORECAST command on 26 APR 2017 with From Date 25 APRL 2017. Why the report heading shows FORECAST DATE 28 APRIL 2017?
Resolution
If the forecast selection ‘From Date’ (FD value on the FORECAST SUMMARY command) is within the work week, then the FORECAST DATE in the report heading will reflect the last day of the week workday.
If the forecast selection ‘From Date’ is a non-workday, then the FORECAST DATE in the report heading will reflect the ‘From Date’ coded on the command.
Example:
FD=042217 à FORECAST DATE is 042217
FD=042317 à FORECAST DATE is 042317
FD=042417 through FD=042817 à FORECAST DATE is 042817 (last workday of the week)
It also takes into consideration your date-table and workdays.
Here a sample report using the US Date Format:
