I have a request to demote two packages down about 5 states. But, the "Verify Package Dependency" check box is checked and disabled; i.e., there is no option for me to clear this checkbox, even though I am an administrator. When I try to demote, Harvests adds another 4 packages. So I demote all six packages. But then a little later Harvest wants to add 2 or 3 more packages. This gets difficult for me to track what package belongs in what state. Hence my question, how do I temporarily turn off Package Dependency. Preferably for this particular demotion only.
Harvest Software Change Manager v12.x and higher
In Administrator Tool navigate to your project and state and view the properties for your Demote process. Ensure the "Verify Package Dependency" checkbox is unchecked.
