Issue/Introduction

A message "ActiveX control is not registered" is displayed when executing a CA Plex application.

ERROR MESSAGES: {xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx}: This ActiveX control is not registered.

Environment

CA Plex 7.2.x and 7.3

Resolution

If OBAX.LIC with the license key of the ActiveX control is used, please place the OBAX.LIC file in the operating environment execution folder.

If OBAX.LIC is not used, please register ActiveX control to the corresponding PC.

If the issue still persists, please contact Broadcom Support for further assistance.
