Surrogate number limit 9999999

Issue/Introduction

Within our 2E model, we are are running out of 7 digit surrogates. 

We are currently at 9940492 and max is 9999999.

 Is there a solution for this?

CA 2E 8.7.1 and higher

Resolution

For 2E 8.7, PTF C22E 525 is included starting in CA 2E 8.7.1 to help alleviate the surrogate number limit issue.

High Order Surrogate Re-Allocation (beyond 9,999,999) 

2E Model high order surrogate values are allocated sequentially from the 1st record within the YLSTSGTNXP file.

Thus, a hard stop would occur if an allocation attempt occurred after the value reached 9,999,999. 

Modifications have been made to re-allocate high order surrogate values that had previously been allocated, but are no longer in use.
