Getting ABEND S0F8 when starting SOLVE-Region

Issue/Introduction

When SOLVE is started under z/OS 2.3 an Abend S0F8 may appear:
N01101 SOLVE ABEND S-0F8 ID=xxxxxx JN=NETMASTR DT=2018099 TM=04103061
N01102 SRC=AB PRD=SOLVE INTLVL=070100 SP=1108 ABC=S-0F8

Resolution

This Abend vanishes when you apply IBM's PTF OA54317.

A circumvention is to use Product Region JCL Parameter XM=TASK instead of XM=ZIIP.

UPDATE: This IBM fix does not completely correct the problem.

It will result in a S0C3 abend. Please see KB000091959 for additional  Netmaster and IBM fixes to fully correct the problem.
