Issue/Introduction
Is the data in the Spectrum installed folder like the files and the configuration data stored in encrypted format?
Environment
All releases of Spectrum running on supported platforms
Resolution
The simple answer is No.
Not all the data is saved in encrypted format. A user with access to Spectrum installed folder can view the files if view able using text editors like notepad, wordpad, etc.
However, the Spectrum username and password are encrypted and stored in the SpectroSERVER database. Passwords for OneClick integrations, the mysql password are stored to a file and are encrypted. The encryption key is internal to CA Spectrum.
