FW job Failing with Unsupported Monitor Type

Issue/Introduction

We receive the following error when running a File Trigger job

Environment

Component: Workload Automation Agent 12.1 or above

Cause

The agent is running file monitor as filewatcher.  The filewatcher job is looking for "EXPAND" of files and this feature is not available for filewatcher.

Resolution

DE uses: Comment out this in agentparm.txt or set it to false:

 

filemonplugin.runexternal=true

For Autosys users:  Run the job as File monitor
