Why can't I delete my NFA Data Source from NetOps Portal?

Environment

NFA Any Version
NetOps Portal Any Version

Resolution

The ability to Delete a Data Source in NetOps Portal is disable by default, even for Admin Users.

To Add the ability to delete a Data Source in NetOps Portal follow the steps below:

1.Login with a user with Admin privileges and go to Admin->Users.

2. Find the Role assigned to the user you wish to use to Delete the Data Source.

3. Go to Admin->Roles, find that Role and click edit and find the Performance Management set of roles and click Edit.

4. Got to Performance Management and move the Delete Data Source Role to the right hand column and click OK.

5. You may need to log out and log back in, but then go to Admin->Data sources and delete the NFA data source.

Additional Information

Note that if you are having sync or bind issues, do not attempt to delete a data source if you plan to add it back to NetOps Portal.  This procedure should only be used if you plan to not add the data source back to this NetOps Portal.
