Issue/Introduction

Would there be an impact to the discovered devices when SNMP v3 Profiles containing duplicate User IDs are removed? If no, could you please share the procedure to remove the SNMP v3 Profiles consisting of duplicate User IDs?

Environment

All releases of Spectrum running on Supported Platforms

Resolution

No, there should not be an impact to the discovered devices after removing the SNMP v3 Profiles containing duplicate User IDs .

To remove the duplicate user ID SNMP v3 Profile follow the below procedure:

Logon to OneClick console:

-> From the Navigation Pane -> Select the Landscape Server -> Click on Universe



-> Navigate to Topology view

-> Click on "Create Model By IP Address" (or) "Create Model By Host Name"


 

-> Under SNMP Communications Options  -> Select SNMP v3 option


-> Click on Profiles  -> Click on the SNMP Profile with duplicate user entry  -> click on Remove -> Click OK to Confirm
