Informatica agent not connecting to Informatica server

DSERIES- SERVER CA Workload Automation DE - System Agent (dSeries)


When submitting a job to Informatica Agent, the job results in this error:

JLMException: Unable to establish connection with Informatica Server Context: IJLMDriver::getConnectionEx(TDM_Dev_Domain,tdmdev_96_repo_Integration_Service,360)


The is JLMException caused when the agent is not able to connect due to blocked ports or because of authentication issues.

The outgoing and incoming ports used by Informatica must open between the CA WA Agent and the Informatica server. 

Also, the Agent requires an open connection to the database.  The DB ports must also be open for agent so that the JDBC driver can connect to the backend database of the Informatica instance.
