The Messages Guide explains:
While processing the named object, it was detected that its getmain request for above
the bar memory would cause the total allowed for the task (TCB) to be exceeded.
(The information in this section is provided if you are not able to promptly apply a
fixing PTF that is described below.)
Use the system parameter MEMLIMTA to increase memory available for a task's object areas.
If you need the size (in MB) of the request causing this specific failure, see the VKGOBJAM
VANLIMIT diagnostic message for the named object in the MSGE sysout.
Check parameter MEMLIMTA in your VKGPARMS member and make sure to set it above 20, the default setting is 10 GB.
If you can not find it in your VKGPARMS, please add it, a suggested value would be: MEMLIMTA (50)
Once a value for MEMLIMTA is added or increased, please refresh the VKGPARMS via command -
F sams,REFRESH,VKGPARMS
The permanent fix for this problem is:
For CA Vantage SRM r12.6, apply PTF RO94866 - MEMORY CHECK MEMLIMTA WORKS INCORRECTLY
This PTF will obsolete Vkgparm MEMLIMTA.
For CA Vantage SRM r14.0, apply PTF RO95258 - MEMORY CHECK MEMLIMTA WORKS INCORRECTLY
This PTF will obsolete Vkgparm MEMLIMTA.
