The Identity Manager application server will not start up, it begins but fails to boot up fully and shuts itself down.

Resolution
Oracle DB password expired, making it impossible for IM to connect to the TPDB. Without that connection IM cannot start up successfully.
To resolve this, have your Oracle DBA set the service account password back to it's original password and modify the entry so that the password never expires to prevent this issue in the future.
