PDASTATS job failed with the following messages:

Collection of X2 - DB2KHCH.XR1KEY - Started 12:41:25 DB2 Connection failed - SYSID DB2D, return code 0106,reason code 00000085

Resolution

Problem was caused by missing definition of the datasharing group member in the SETUPxx. In a given SETUPxx member for Data Sharing you should have the Group Attach Name and any members executing on a LPAR defined individually within the CDBAPARM/PARMLIB.
