After submitting a Job, it goes into the 'Agent Notified' status

Issue/Introduction

We are monitoring the jobs through ESP tool - After submitting a job, it goes into the 'Agent Notified' status. 

Error like below in agent's transmitter.log;

 - Error connecting to CENTRAL_MANAGER:
   cybermation.library.communications.CybConversationConnectException: Unknown host: <hostname>
   Caused by: java.net.UnknownHostException: <hostname>

Environment

 Component: Workload Automation Agent

Cause

The given scheduler hostname in agent's agentparm.txt file is not a valid name.

Resolution

Use a valid scheduling manager address, fully qualified domain name (FQDN) hostname, or set one in the DNS server, or use an IP address.

communication.manageraddress_n=address_1;...;address_m

 

Consult your networking team for further action.
