Configuring what Listeners to Bring up with CA XCOM for Windows 11.6

Issue/Introduction

How to configure what ports XCOM listens on.
How to disable the unsecured ports.

Environment

Release: ESPXCM99000-11.6-CA-XCOM Data Transport-Extended Support Plus

Resolution

Always start the XCOM Gui as administrator:

1. cd C:\Program Files\CA\XCOM
2. Right Click on StandaloneUI.bat
3. Right Click on Run As Administrator

When the Gui comes Up configure the listeners:

1. Select Global Parameters
2. Chose the TCP/IP TAB and scroll down
3. Under Server Ipv6 Number->Choose Listeners
4. Select IPV4 IPV6 SSL Listener
5. Click update in the upper right.
6. Close the Gui
7. Recycle xcomd
8. Restart the Gui.

To check on this after it is complete

1. Start the command prompt as administrator
2. type netstat -an | findstr "804"

to see what listeners are running.
