This article is intended to address the concerns about the change from Standard Daylight Time to Daylight Saving Time or vice-versa for OPS/MVS Event Management and Automation software.

Resolution
If there isn't any Time Of Day (TOD) rules running at the hour when the time changes for Daylight Saving Time, there is nothing to be worried about and nothing to do.
For the change back to Standard Daylight Time, the only concern may be the TOD rule may execute twice (again when the hour repeats). Depending upon the what the rule needs to do, this may not be a problem either.

Additional Information
- You may want to consider using this rule for the time change. The time change sample rule below disables rules prior to the time change and re-enables rules after.
Resynchronizes AOF TOD rules during dynamic Daylight savings time changes. No IPL is performed.
