Issue/Introduction

Trying to delete an Endevor element with corrupted footprint in base library and the delete processor fails.

How can we bypass the delete processor?

Environment

z/OS

Resolution

1. Update the Processor Group definition associated with the element and change the Delete Processor to *NOPROC*

2. Delete the element

3. Update the Processor Group definition and put the Delete Processor back.

Additional Information

Once the element is deleted, you can manually delete any associated outputs.

Note: Ensure that no other elements are deleted from that location (environment, stage, system, type) while the processor group is updated. Remember that MOVE, TRANSFER and ARCHIVE actions may also delete the element and run the delete processor.
