PDSMAN

Issue/Introduction

Many clients are unaware of the significant value they receive from PDSMAN® PDS Library Management (PDSMAN). Often, the software was installed to address problems that have long faded from memory. Yet over the years PDSMAN has been reliably providing solutions to these and other PDS and PDSE issues you face on a daily basis.

Experience also shows that PDSMAN is often under-utilized. Every site has latent value in the product that is waiting to be released. Because PDSMAN provides such a broad set of solutions, many different users – system programmers, data administrators, DASD managers, developers, end users and others – can benefit significantly from using the software.

How can clients learn more about the value received, or could receive, from using PDSMAN®?

PDSMAN Value Analysis

Since PDSMAN runs quietly in the background, it is rarely fully appreciated for the benefit it provides. The best way to determine the value you currently receive from the software is to participate in a complimentary PDSMAN Value Analysis.

The value analysis begins with clients detailing the PDSMAN environment. The information that is requested is easy to collect and is handled in accordance with Broadcom customer data retention policies.

The information is reviewed by members of the PDSMAN team, each of whom has decades of experience with the product. You are also invited to join with the team to review the results, ask questions, and identify next steps.

The information needed for a value analysis is described in the attached article PDSMAN® Value Analysis Description

Additional Information

To learn more or to schedule a value analysis, contact a member of the PDSMAN team or your Broadcom account representative.
