Issue/Introduction

TEN1023/TCU1023 does not show a CAUSE value when wrong password entered by user.

Environment

CA TPX 5.4

Cause

The LOCK/UNLOCK Reverification Enhancement enhancement included an update to panel CB0VPENU member TENMSGL with a new message: IENL004A PASSCODE IS NOT CORRECT
This client had a custom version of TENMSGL earlier in the PANELS DD concatenation than the delivered TENMSGL.  The change had not been merged into the custom version.
Removing/renaming the custom member to allow the delivered version to be used.  This resolved the problem and the new message was displayed.

Resolution

Verify that you have the most current version of the delivered panels (CB0VPENU) available to your TPX started task.
If you have a custom version of TENMSGL in your PANELS DD concatenation, you need to merge the current delivered version of TENMSGL with your customizations.
