Issue/Introduction

With version 12 using an Oracle database, it enables partitioning. The support matrix states that "Oracle partitioning feature should be enabled." Are we still supported by CA if we disable partitioning? If so, what is the negative impact to the application? just report performance?

Resolution

When the product is installed, we automatically install using partitions. While your DBA can remove the partitions, we advise against doing so as it will have an impact on performance. It is highly recommended that you take advantage of partitioning as it helps in alleviating overall performance issues.
