We would like to know Minimum and/or recommended Software Requirement for proper TSO region size when using the PVISPF function.

Resolution

There are several factors that goes into determining the TSO region size.
First thing, did you run the USERMOD X7USRMD2 in Prefix.CBA3JCL and move CA Panvalet modules to LPA ?
If YES, then REGION requirements will be less.
If NO, then REGION requirements will be more.

Without the USERMOD X7USRMD2 applied, we would say the minimum TSO region 4096KB. If you have large members in the PANLIBs you will be editing, recommend 5120KB.
With the USERMOD X7USRMD2 applied and depending on how many of the CA Panvalet modules they put in LPA. We would say the minimum is still 4096KB if only the 6 Type-2 modules are put in LPA. If you have both Type-2 and all the Type-3 modules loaded to LPA, minimum 3.5MB and recommend 4096KB.
