TPX - Session Management Vman Session Management for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

I just finished bringing TPX maintenance up to current. When invoking the "lock" function, I now get panel TEN1023 instead of TEN0023. How can I get invoke the TEN0023 panel instead?

Environment

CA TPX 5.4

Cause

Lock panel TEN1023 replacing TEN0023 was part of PTF'd enhancements for TPX to support use of Multi Factor Authentication. Lock design required changes as well in order to support this feature and tighten security for passtickets.

Resolution

Strongly recommend against trying to restore PTFs related to MFA via SMPE.

Two options:

1) Identify what the screen scraper is keying upon and create a custom TEN1023 in your custom panel library that would accommodate the screen scraper while maintaining all of the input/output fields on the new TEN1023. Maintain this until screen scrapers can be upgraded.
(Note that custom code/panels should be maintained in a separate library concatenated ahead of the delivered vendor code.)

2) Otherwise, fall back to files from before you applied maintenance: CSI, TPX VSAM, LOADLIB, panels, ACLLIB, etc.  *** Not recommended as a permanent solution.
