Issue/Introduction

With RO67913 ptf for CA1 12.6 a new Audit type-5 exception record will be generated to indicate that CA 1 was shutdown and remove the name of the CPUid from CTL#5.

What is the condition that the name of the CPUId be removed from the CTL#5 ?

Resolution

To remove the name of the CPUID from the CTL#5 when LPAR was stopped for longer than 6-12 hours we have two conditions to complete:

a) Shut-down CA 1 before stopping the LPAR 
b) Allow all tape processing AND TMSINIT processing to be stopped for at least 30-minutes prior to stopping the LPAR.
