RO71425

TITLE: ONLY USERID AND PASSWORD SENT TO AFFINITY TPX 

Only USERID and password are sent to the affinity TPX in the CLSDST/PASS process. 

SYMPTOMS: Client needs the fourth userdata parameter (account field) passed when a generic resource TPX passes a user to another TPX instance. 

IMPACT: The fourth parameter will not be available in the pass-to TPX instance. 
 

Need a clarification on RO71425. How is this fourth userdata field being passed?

Resolution

RO71425 is a rework of TPX 5.3 RO50603. When user signs on to TPX, all four userdata parms were not being passed successfully.

For example, when user signs on to TPX from VTAM with: LOGON APPLID(yourtpx) DATA(USERAF/ABC/XYZ/ACCNTFLD)

• Without the fix, only data passed in CINIT is "USERAF/XYZ".
• With the fix, the full userdata is "USERAF/XYZ//ACCNTFLD".
