Issue/Introduction

A SYSPROG  ran the ZMSSSL job to create the key store files but the job failed with java error and RC=100 with the following message:

 

JVMJZBL2010E Exception occurred invoking com.ca.messageservice.sslutility.Utility.UtilityRunner.main()...

 

JVMJZBL2007E Stack trace follows:                                               

java.lang.RuntimeException: Error in executing the command: keytool error (likely untranslated): java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect

Cause

The target directories had already been populated with keystore files. 

Environment

Any supported z/OS release.

Resolution

Delete the existing keystore files or choose an alternate directory.
