AlarmNotifier output not displaying severity- From the output it shows as:

SEV=

when it should be displayed as

Severity=

Cause

Before AlarmNotifier passes an alarm to a script, it will fetch the alarm Severity conditions like MAJOR, CRITICAL, MINOR, etc.,  from the resource binaries, which are installed under $SPECROOT/Res directory.

If the root.res file from $SPECROOT/Res/SUTILS file has been modified, deleted or corrupt, you may see fields displayed incorrectly.

For example The “Severity” field may incorrectly display being either blank or:

The workaround in this scenario is to copy the root.res file from the same version of Spectrum from a working system to the problematic system.
