CA XCOM Transfer initiated with INQUIRE step is failing with End of Inquire, rc = 36

Issue/Introduction

When using the Inquire step to verify the status of transfers, even though the transfer is still active, the XCOM inquire step reports that it failed with a return code of 36:
RC=36: PRG=xcomtcp PID=xxxxxxxxx
XCOMU1300I REQUEST # 123456 PROCESSED SUCCESSFULLY End of Inquire, rc = 36

Resolution

RC=36 means at least one transfer in the INQ_FILE has not been completed, which is correct.
Please check your INQUIRE script and increase the INQ_WAIT value if needed.
