YLICGRRI errors when running YGRTLICAUT

Issue/Introduction

When attempt to apply 2E license keys using command YGRTLICAUT command, received YLICGRRI errors such as:

Total parameters passed does not match number required.
ERROR condition at 36 in YLICGRRI. ONCODE 9000.
ERROR condition at 36 in YLICGRRI. ONCODE 9000.
No error on-unit in YLICGRRI. Select dump option C, D, or F.
No error on-unit in YLICGRRI. Select dump option C, D, or F.

 

 

Environment

2E on AS/400 IBM I series

Resolution

This indicates that the 2E YLUSLIB library has not been updated to the correct release, 8.7 in this case.  Reference the 2E 8.7 Install Guide, Page 30 for more details:
 
To solve, perform the following instructions:
1. Download the YLUSLIB0 SAVF to your PC
2. FTP the YLUSLIB0 SAVF to your server
3. RSTLIB library YLUSLIB0 from the SAVF
4. With 2E 8.7 libraries in your library list run YCRTLUSLIB
5. CLRPFM FILE(YLUSLIB/YLICTBLP)
6. CLRPFM FILE(YLUSLIB/YLICREGP)
7. YGRTLICAUT  the 8.1 authorization codes
8. YDSPLICPRD to verify the codes
