Issue/Introduction

How do you find the Release level for VM:Manager? I was researching the release level of all my CA VM products and I cannot find a command nor any reference to figuring out what release level VM:Manager is at.

Resolution

Use the VMANAGER VERSION command issued from VMANAGER.

For example - 
vmanager version 
VMNGER001I CA Mainframe VM Product Manager Version 01.2 RS1611 
Ready; 

The command was introduced for VMANAGER 1.2 with PTF RO63509.
