Refresh with new LMP Keys after an EKG was provided

Issue/Introduction

Receiving new LMP keys. 

How to implement them even if the EKG key has not expired? 

Can these LMP Keys be refreshed before the EKG expires in 10 days? 

Will the LMP keys available when the EKG expires?

CA Common Services 14.1 & 15.0 - z/OS supported releases - 

Resolution

Yes, the LMP Keys can be refreshed before the expiration of the EKG key.

Just remove the EKG key from the KEYS member, put the new LMP Keys in this member and load the new LMP Keys. 

To load the new LMP keys for your products, start CAS9 with the following parameter: 
S CAS9,,,LMPKEYS 

This does not re-init any of your other products and does not resubmit the AUTOCMDS commands.
