After a SpectroSERVER restart, the Network_Address of existing VM models changes from the Management IP to the Production IP in the Spectrum database. This requires a user to have to manually reset the Network_Address of each VM back to the Management IP.
During a SpectroSERVER restart, Spectrum does a DNS lookup to verify the ip address of the VM model. The DNS is returning the Production IP so Spectrum changes the IP address of the VM model to the Production IP address.
This issue is address in Spectrum 10.02.01 by setting the VMWare_vmDNSLookonVNMRestart attribute id 0x56e0d10 on the Virtual Host Manager to "No". Default value is "Yes".
