Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to change an AD user's password from UNAB?

Environment

Release: Currently available UNAB release as of October 2023.
Component: SCUNAB

Resolution

Although it is possible to change an AD user's password either using e.g. the native command

# passwd

or

# /opt/CA/uxauth/bin/uxconsole -krb -passwd ADUser

it is recommended to use native Windows Tools for this task.

Additional Information

If you change the password for the UNAB bind account, you need to update the UNAB endpoint.
