A transfer fails with message “XCOMN0287E Error setting remote user id”
A possible cause of this problem can be that the userid has a Domain included like
userid=domain\user
You should go past message 'XCOMN0287E Error setting remote user id' once the correct combination is set in DOMAIN=, USERID= and PASSWORD=.
Note that DOMAIN= should be specified if the userid is defined at the Windows domain level and should not be specified if the userid is local to the Windows box.
Note that, despite of the format 'domain_name\userid' which is used in the Windows world, the backslash is NOT part of the domain name nor the userid.
example
DOMAIN=domain
USERID=user
