Can batch terminals be increased or dynamically allocated without shutting down CA 7 or ICOM?

Issue/Introduction

We are looking for a way to dynamically add more batch terminals or increase current ones.   Should CA 7 and/or  ICOM be shutdown to increase the size of output batch terminal?

 

Environment

Release: 12.1  12.0
Component: 7

Resolution

CA 7 will have to be recycled to pick up any newly added batch terminals and to reallocate any existing ones with a larger size.    The only task that needs to be shut down to increase the size of output batch terminals is CA 7.  ICOM does not have to be recycled.
