Issue/Introduction

CA Datacom Version 15.1 PTF RO91732 says "... This can occur while using CA Dataquery against a MUF which is externally secured" but it has been proven that it also resolved the same Multi-User (MUF) S0C4 in DBBFMPR x'4172' during CA Datacom Server 15.0 startup when there was no use of Dataquery (DQ).

Environment

Release:    15.1

Component:  CA Datacom/DB

                        CA Datacom Dataquery

                        CA Datacom Server

Cause

At the time of PTF RO91732 publishing, the only known situation was with Dataquery.

Resolution

The problem resolved by PTF RO91732 is not limited to CA Datacom Dataquery.

While PTF RO01732 specifies

"... This can occur while using CA Dataquery against a MUF which is externally secured"

it has been proven that PTF RO91732 also resolves the same Multi-User (MUF) S0C4 abend in DBBFMPR x'4172' during a CA Datacom Server 15.0 startup on a secured MUF when no DQ was involved.

Additional Information

The abend was caused by a CA Datacom Server request which is using the same external security facility DQ uses so the solution the problem addresses is not restricted to DQ.

It is however restricted to sites which use external security.

Recommend apply CA Datacom Version 15.1 PTF RO91732.
