How do you estimate how much disk space a report is using?
Release: 12.1-Deliver-Output Management-Interface for Native TSO
For a text report, you can take the number of lines and divide by 10,100. The result is the number of cylinders the report takes up on disk.
The formula used to come up with the 10,100 is 133 bytes * .60 compression = 80 bytes stored for a line.
There are 809,700 bytes of storage per a standard 3390 cylinder.
