How to get the approvers of one workflow process in Policy Xpress.

Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to configure the CA Identity Manager (IM) Policy Xpress (px) to identify the approver in a workflow process? 

 

Environment

Release: 14.x
Component: IDMGR (IdentityManager)

Resolution

Create a px policy type as Workflow for Approvers resolved Event State.

Event Name is your Workflow process, e.g.: OOTB TwoStageApprovalProcess.

It will be triggered every time the Workflow resolves the Approvers at each stage.

For example, for the OOTB TwoStageApprovalProcess, it would go into the state ‘Approvers Resolved’ twice, thereby triggering the PX twice. 

Add a data element for the Workflow Category and Type as Approvers List.

The function can allow you to get Approvers' Full Names, User IDs or Email Addresses.
