Issue/Introduction

CA IDMS using native VSAM RRDS error message:

DC205006 V1185 T45 NVSAM ERR - USDMAIN0 FUNC=11 FDBK=072 R15=08 NVST=03 R0=000 NVERR=000
STATUS=0383

Resolution

The FDBK & NVST indicate that  you need to define the cluster name to the cv startup jcl.      

Another possibility is that the RRDS file should specify the parameter  NUMBERED in the IDCAMS definition.
