Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to control the excess and verbosity of the tracelogs?

Is there a way to disable logging for tracelogs? 

Environment

Release: ESP dSeries (Workload Automation DE)

Cause

The DE server logging is based on the concept of the logging profile.  The DEFAULT profile will log several important message and is recommended for production.  The EVERYTHING profile will record all messages from dSeries and may be used for debugging purposes.

Resolution

Users can setup their own profile.  Right click on the pre-defined and select Copy to create a new profile.  The new user defined profile can be customized by changing "Logger Identifier" severity to INFO,WARNIN, ERROR, FATAL.  It is not recommended to turn off dSeries logging completely.  We recommend to keep at least INFO for all the identifiers.
