Issue/Introduction

How do you increase the max java memory for the WAAE Web Server?

 

 

Environment

AutoSys 12.x. 24.x

Resolution

On the Primary Scheduler / Web Server machine, go to the following directory...

UNIX
/opt/CA/WorkloadAutomationAE/autouser.< Instance ID>/webserver/conf

Windows
C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Workload Automation AE\autouser.< Instance ID>\webserver\conf

Open the wrapper.conf file for editing and find the following lines...

# Maximum Java Heap Size (in MB)
wrapper.java.maxmemory=1024

Increase the value from 1024 to a higher value. The recommendation is 2048 or 4096, depending on load.
