Issue/Introduction

A Log Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PLA) job encounters the following message and finished with RC=16.
There were no additional error messages in the output to diagnose the cause of the error:

LAE0181I PTA@LRCI: ERROR WITH SVC SCREENING

Resolution

The error message in the SVC SCREENING was caused by a lack of APF authorization in the STEPLIB/PTILIB concatenations.
One of the Libraries in the STEPLIB/PTILIB concatenations was not APF authorized.
