No IVP jobs are provided with CA Allocate.

 

Even though  there is no process delivered with CA Allocate like IVP jobs to check the basic product functionalities. The reason is that the huge possibilities to work with CA Allocate are not possible to be all simulated. The second main point is that each customer has its own environment and constraint. So you can understand that we can't provide a general case which will match your specific environment. Now as a way to perform this, I would say that you can locate main JCL samples you are daily using and run them in a separate test environment when doing such upgrading. This sample set of several JCLs will ensure you if all still work fine or not. This is what most of our customers do.
