How does an upgrade to a new  Datacom/AD release affect  Jobtrac Job Management?

 

Resolution

Datacom/AD upgrades to new releases are  independent upgrades to Jobtrac Job Management.   No additional PTFs or maintenance is required for Jobtrac for the  Datacom/AD upgrade.  Once the  Datacom/AD upgrade is complete, any STEPLIB reference in the Jobtrac and GSS started tasks should be updated to reflect the new Datacom/AD CUSLIB and CAAXLOAD libraries. You will also need to make the update for any report jobs as well. Other than that there is not anything additional required on the Jobtrac end  when an upgrade  to Datacom/AD occurs.
