Issue/Introduction

When using IDMS Presspack, the record data written to the journals is the compressed version of the records.

IDMSUNPS is a program which can be called to decompress such data, if necessary.

Resolution

The attached .zip file contains an example of a cobol program which can be used to call IDMSUNPS to decompress records compressed with IDMS Presspack.
